TANJUNG MALIM, 3 August 2017 – The Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) bowling team today ended their campaign at the Sukan Staf Antara Universiti Malaysia (SUKUM) 2017 by bagging one gold and two silver medals.

Overall in the bowling event, USM won one gold, three silvers and one bronze medal. The men's team obtained gold while the Women’s Masters team clinched silver.

Meanwhile, the USM Futsal team also made it to the quarterfinals, and would be facing Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP) tomorrow.

Tomorrow USM will also be competing in sepak takraw and cycling, where both events would see intense competition coming from USM.

In this 42nd SUKUM hosted by Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) from 29 July to 5 August 2017, USM sent a strong contingent of 227 staff to take part in 16 of the 21 sports disciplines being competed.
