USM, PENANG, 7 March 2017 - Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) continues to receive visitors from foreign countries, with an official visit made by the delegation from Hatyai University, Thailand, headed by the Dean of Didyasarin International College, Dr. Patcharee Scheb-Buenner.

This visit was meant to focus more on collaborative efforts between the two universities, especially in the area of student mobility.

The USM Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail was present to chair the discussions during the visit.

According to Asma, USM is committed to establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with other universities.

Also present at the discussions were the USM Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Professor Dato' Dr. Ahmad Shukri Mustapa Kamal, and the Director, USM International Mobility and Career Centre (USM-IMCC), Dr. Muhizam Mustafa.
