KARNATAKA, INDIA, 16 November 2016 - Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail today begins her official educational visit to India by holding a discussion session with Aurigene Discovery Technologies Limited key executives headed by its CEO, Mr. Chavali S.N. Murthy.

The pre-discussion session between both parties focused on initiatives pertaining to potential research collaboration with the possibility of having further collaboration and networking.

Meanwhile, Aurigene Discovery Technologies Limited will be sending their team members to USM next month to discuss further on possible collaborations at the Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (AMDI) in Bertam.

Besides the USM Vice-Chancellor, the other USM team members consist of the Member of USM Board of Governors, Prof. Datuk Dr. Omar Shawkataly; Director of AMDI, Dr. Norehan Mokhtar; Principal Assistant Registrar of the Vice-Chancellor Office, Mohd. Rashid Abdul Rejab and members of the USM Student Representative Council, Mohamad Hazim Bin Abdul Manaf, Farah Annis Azeera Binti Azeman and Mohamad Afhzan Bin Amanah.
