The USM Jazz Band has finally returned to performing once again for the 25th Annual Concert.

This event has never failed to bring excitement among the campus community.

The band members eagerly showcased their talents and deliver another heartfelt performance after their 24th Annual Concert. It was indeed a commendable effort and should be our joy and pride.

The 25th Annual Concert brings the theme “Recovery: How to Save a Life” to USM. Led and conducted by Azreen Harlina, the band is made up of around 100 and a crew of around 30 students from USM.

For more than 25 years, the USM Jazz Band has brought colours and joy to the USM community.

The USM Jazz Band is also open to students who wish to take up music as part of the co-curricular activities and to those who wish to nurture and expand their talents as musicians.

It also embarks on fund raising initiatives while helping its members in strengthening their five HEBAT traits namely Holistic, Entrepreneurship, Balanced, Articulate and Thinking.

Organizing the USM Jazz Band 25th Annual Concert has provided meaningful experience and acts as a very valuable learning process to all committees involved.

Everyone learned how a team should function as one and how the backbone of it all comes from teamwork, respect and being tolerant.

Passion is what makes us enjoy what we do despite the tiredness that we feel. Passion will help us overcome the challenges that we face, even when they seem overwhelming at times.

USM Dewan Budaya paid tribute to the audience for gracing this grand celebration with their presence and for showing their endless support for the USM Jazz Band.
