USM PENANG, 20 February 2023 - Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) recently extended an invitation to the Penang Green Council (PGC) to be part of the Green Ambassador Forum: Environment Psychology.

The forum was organised by USM student volunteers - the Green Ambassador and supported by the USM Centre for Global Sustainability Studies (CGSS).

Throughout the event, PGC was given the opportunity to share their views and experiences on projects on how to promote awareness among the different audience groups via outreach and educational programmes.

At the same time, CGSS is working on issues relating to sustainable development, and one being the Environmental Protection and Education Hub (EPEHub), to be done in collaboration with Tzu Chi and managed by USM student volunteers.

“We are delighted that more groups are joining the collective action to make Mother Earth a better place,” said PGC members.

More than 30 individuals attended this one-day informative session.
