USM PENANG, 16 December 2022 – Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PPSF) held its Golden Jubilee and Alumni 50 Gala Dinner at the Lexis Suite Hotel, Penang, this evening.

The aim of the event was to celebrate the wondrous journey together with PPSF alumni and staff that have been the backbone of the successes achieved by PPSF throughout the years.

At the age of 50, PPSF is still going strong, and continues to grow by leaps and bounds and develop itself with the advancement of science, as it continues to contribute to the improvement of the society through various health and community programmes.

The event also witnessed the launching of Pharmily trademark and PPSF 50 Years of Excellence Book, officiated by the USM Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Innovation, Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed.

Also present were the USM PPSF Former Dean (1971-1975), Emeritus Professor Dato’ Dr. Chan Kok Ewe; USM PPSF Former Dean (1979-2001), Professor Dato’ Dr. Gan Ee Kiang and current USM PPSF Dean, Professor Dr. Habibah A Wahab.
