THE UNIVERSITY TOP MANAGEMENT EXTENDS GOOD WISHES TO COMMEMORATE PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S BIRTHDAY
USM PENANG, 8 October 2022 – "Let us together celebrate 'Maulidur Rasul' this time around with a sense of gratefulness, in moderation and to observe this special celebration by strengthening the unity that we have embraced throughout the years."
That was said by the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), Professor Dato’ Gs. Dr. Narimah Samat, who is also carrying out the functions of the Vice-Chancellor and representing the university top management in wishing 'Salam Maulidur Rasul 1444H' to all USM communities and the alumni, colleagues and strategic partners.
She then said, in all that we do, do not forget those who are less fortunate and in need, especially those who are close to us, and the rest of mankind faced with calamities and hardships, to take heed and to be grateful for all that we have received up until now.
“As we celebrate this occasion and the registration of the new batch of students for the 2022/2023 academic session, I sincerely wish that USM will continue to move forward and become an example to other institutions, providing support to the nation as it becomes stronger and more stable,” said Narimah further.
She also extended her utmost appreciation to all staff who have been involved in the process of assisting the admission of students this time around due to the long weekend, and to sacrifice the time with their families so as to welcome the new members of the USM 'family'.
“As we welcome them, it is my hope that we remain united and continue to work as a cohesive team in dealing with challenges and in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities bestowed upon us to realise the aims and uphold the name of this university in the drive for success,” she said.
SENDING GOOD WISHES TO ALL ON MAULIDUR RASUL 1444H.
