The 58th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) will commence on 2nd December 2021 (First Session/S1) at Istana Arau in Perlis and will be followed by the Second (S2) until the Tenth (S10) Sessions, from 13th until 21st December 2021 at the Dewan Tuanku Syed Putra (DTSP), USM Penang.

The First Session will witness five preeminent individuals receiving their awards; two recipients for the Honorary Degree, two recipients acknowledged as Professor Emeritus and Emerita, and a recipient of the Chancellor Gold Medal.

The convocation ceremony will be held in accordance to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Only graduands who have completed their two-dosage vaccination will be allowed to attend this convocation ceremony.

For S2 until S10 at DTSP, the awarding of degrees will be conducted only in one session per day.

The division of sessions for the USM 58th Convocation Ceremony (S2 – S10) will be announced via USM official channels soon.
