PENANG, 17 October, 2013 - Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Student Affairs and Development Division (BHEPP) has again successfully organised a ‘BHEPP, A Day with Students’ at the foyer of G 03 Lecture Hall.

According to BHEPP Assistant Registrar, Fadzilla Bosman, the main objective of this annual event was to provide information, services and student development programmes direct to the students.

“Inquiries regarding the services can be channeled or submitted to the booths opened and the officer-in-charge will do their best to help the students,” she said.

She added that there were 15 booths this year and service counter starts from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

“Among the booths involved are Entrepreneurship and Students’ Personality Development Centre, Graduate Placement Centre, University Housing and Accommodation Unit, USM Sports and Recreation Centre, Students’ Revenue and Financial Centre, Pusat Sejahtera and many others,” she said.

As stated by Noor Aisah Lim, a School of Educational Studies second year student, this kind of programme is an opportunity for students to obtain as much information as possible, basing on the things that they are unclear about.

“Besides having the latest and the most accurate information related to the students’ activities and university, I had the chance to try out a few games like Petanque and Wood Ball which are new to me as well,” she said. - Translation: Siti Faizah Abd Halim/Photos: Mohamad Danial Shahri
