KUALA LUMPUR, 24 June 2019 – The Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS) in Kuala Lumpur (Sains@KL) will hold its Postgraduate Studies Open Day this weekend. 

It would be held at Dewan Aminuddin Baki, Wisma Sejarah in Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, from 10.00 am – 5.00 pm from 29-30 June 2019. 

Chief Secretariat for the USM Postgraduate Studies Programme, Associate Professor Dr. Hasrina Mustafa said the Open Day is organised to allow the public easier access to the information on the fields of research, as well as the available funding/fellowship programmes offered by USM. 

Over 250 programmes are offered by the university at the Master’s and Doctorate (PhD) levels in various fields.

Candidates who qualify will stand a chance to get RM70 (local applicants) and USD40 (international applicants) application fee waiver and on-the-spot offer letter.

“Interested candidates are advised to bring along both soft copies and hard copies of their documents and academic transcripts to facilitate the application process,” she reminded.
