CYBERJAYA, 13 August 2018 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail made a courtesy visit to DreamEDGE Sdn. Bhd. (DreamEDGE), a company focusing in areas of engineering, information technology and multimedia services.

According to Asma, who is also President of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), the collaboration between USM and DreamEDGE can be expanded further in other forms and also with ASM in the future, as USM has the available expertise to cater to needs in various fields.

The Chief Executive Officer of DreamEDGE, Khairil Adri Adnan gave an introduction on the company to all guests, among others the Vice-President of ASM, YM Tengku Datuk Dr. Mohd Azzman Shariffadeen and USM Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation, Professor Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed; Dean of USM School of Aerospace Engineering, Professor Ir. Dr. Mohd Zulkifly Abdullah; Dean of USM School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (PPKEE), Professor Ir. Dr. Mohd Rizal Arshad and USM Director of Nexus Engineering, Professor Dr. Abdul Latif Ahmad.

DreamEDGE was established in 2007 and currently possesses varying degrees of talent and expertise comprising of local graduates who are efficient, knowledgeable and highly motivated in looking at future challenges. DreamEDGE has also set up bases in Kuala Lumpur and Perak, and one in Japan.

Also present were the DreamEDGE Head of Sales and Marketing, Mohd Khairul Annuar; Head of Engineering, Hisham Razuli, together with USM PPKEE lecturer, Associate Professor Dr. Soib Taib and USM Director of Industry Network, Associate Professor Dr. Yeoh Fei Yee.
