NIBONG TEBAL, 18 November 2017 – Professor Dr. Zulkifli Ahmad from the School of Material and Mineral Resources Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) was among the ASEAN recipients of this year's Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Titular Fellowship.

These fellowships, awarded to university staff and academics from across its diverse membership, provide individuals the opportunities to visit prestigious institutions across the Commonwealth countries to undertake research, develop skills, and share ideas.

The Swansea University Fulton Fellowship was awarded to Zulkifli to carry out collaborative research in the fabrication of stretchable electronic devices at Swansea University in Wales, United Kingdom.

Zulkifli, a professor in polymer chemistry, is currently the Programe Chairperson for Polymer section at the USM School of Material and Mineral Resources Engineering.

ACU Titular Fellowships are offered on an annual basis to staff at ACU member institutions and support Commonwealth universities to develop their staff and resources through the interchange of people, knowledge, skills, and technologies.
