USM, PENANG, 31 October 2016 - Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) would be having a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hadhramout Establishment for Human Development (HEHD) Yemen on Monday, 7 November 2016, at 11.00 am at the Chancellory Conference Room, Level 6, Chancellory Building USM.

The USM Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail would be representing USM while HEHD would be represented by the Chairman, HEHD Board of Trustees, Eng. Sheikh Abdullah A. Bugshan.

HEHD was established in 2006 to further develop the socio-economic conditions in Yemen, with the capacity in creating more educational opportunities for the people in the country.

This Memorandum of Understanding would look at the cooperation on matters concerning admission of undergraduate and postgraduate students and also on research and innovation, in addition to other areas agreed upon.
