SACRIFICING FOR THE GREATER GOOD

Aidil Adha greetings to everyone. A celebration that’s truly significant to the Muslim community, not just to those on pilgrimage in Makkah Al-Mukarramah but also to all Muslims throughout the world. We are to celebrate Aidil Adha in full of self-introspection.
We need to look at, understand and interpret it in a most heartfelt manner. Not merely in sincerely committing to qurban, but also in training our inner selves in having the willingness to sacrifice in the name of Allah, for the benefit of the faith, society and the country as well as the world in the long run.
An act of sacrifice relates to the readiness in us to make the best of choices, as well as in those ‘less endearing’ ones. Our readiness to make sacrifices, in moving ahead with the spirit of APEX, in becoming truly the best. There is plenty that needs to be sacrificed, including our sentiments, in ensuring that we continue to lead and bring benefits to others and the world throughout.
Let us continue to pray and strive to ensure that our sacrifices will fulfil what has been demanded of us. Our sacrifice would need to be at the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Only with the willingness to sacrifice what we have, that we can continue to remain relevant and to soar to greater heights.
Wishing all of you the blessings of ‘Eidul Adha’. Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha.
