PENANG, 31 August 2016 – Students of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) are hoped to become assets to the country and be ever ready and willing to serve the society.
"As a USM alumni, I would like to welcome the students and I hope to see them succeed in the future by taking the available opportunities to develop themselves in a holistic manner and being entrepreneurial in character," said the Malaysian Higher Education Minister, Dato' Seri Idris Jusoh in a special recording made available by the USM Media and Public Relations Centre (MPRC) and presented to the newly-enrolled students during the ‘Majlis Sambutan Siswa Lestari’ here recently.
He also urged the students to always persevere, to pursue their studies vigorously, to utilise the time at the university wisely, and to enjoy themselves while undergoing the learning process at the university.
