USM ENGINEERING GRADUATES ARE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER BY INDUSTRY
NIBONG TEBAL, March 2015 - The support given especially by the industries for programmes organised by the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Engineering students has proven that the students are acknowledged to have reputable skills and abilities.
According to the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Professor Dato' Dr. Omar Osman, this fact can be seen from the wonderful support which the industries have given to the final-year students, by providing opportunities for the students to experience the realities of working life, with the participation of more than 68 companies in the Career Fair 2015 event held at the USM Engineering Campus here recently.
Speaking at the press conference after the launching of Career Fair 2015, Omar said as he went around the promotion booths of the industries, he was informed there are companies which sent USM alumni members to recruit potential graduates for career opportunities.
The Career Fair is an annual event held at the Engineering Campus, well into its 10th year, organised to provide career opportunities related to the fields of engineering, ICT, and technology, among others.
