USM, PENANG, 28 August 2016 - Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is simply amazing and the best among all universities.

That was stated by a new student to USM from Iraq, Neaam Bahaa Saleh, 20, who enrolled at the USM Main Campus earlier today for the Degree in Architecture at the USM School of Housing, Building and Planning.

Neaam sought details about USM and was truly excited with the many aspects of USM, from the education and the overall well-being to other aspects relating to higher education.

"I would also inform my friends in Iraq on the excellence and advantages of studying at USM, and would strongly suggest that they come for their studies here," said the sixth of seven children when met during a special press conference in relation to the USM registration of new students, chaired by Professor Dato' Dr. Muhamad Jantan, representing the USM Vice-Chancellor.

Neaam added that, after being in here for the last 6 months, Malaysia is among the best in offering Architectural Studies and USM is the smartest choice to study and graduate in the field.

"Apart from that, the facilities and services provided by USM to the students and its community are of high standard and would cater to the needs of other international students who plan to pursue their studies here," she said further.

Meanwhile, Neaam's sister, Dr. Maysam Bahaa Saleh also hoped that her sister would pursue her studies at USM until the Master's level and would be able to secure a job in any of the local architectural firms.

Dr. Maysam Bahaa Saleh, a USM alumnus, currently lectures at the USM School of Educational Studies.
