USM OFFERS THE BEST IN PHARMACY STUDIES
USM, PENANG, 11 March 2016 – Hamza Mostafa, 26, who is doing his Master’s postgraduate studies in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), deemed his experience studying here as being truly meaningful for his future.
“I chose USM to pursue my studies further as I had been informed that USM was the first university to offer the course in Pharmaceutical Science in Malaysia,” said Hamza who hailed from Egypt.
From his opinion and observation, the USM School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is of higher repute compared to those in other universities as well as in other countries.
Hamza hoped that more international students, including those from Egypt, would come to USM to seek an opportunity such as this. Currently, the Egyptian student population in USM is made up of only six students.
"I would urge and encourage my friends to choose USM as the place to further pursue their studies as the university has a full range of facilities, offering together with good quality teaching and learning practices, hence coming to USM is a smart choice,” said Hamza.
Hamza, who would be returning to his home country in the near future, had enjoyed the experience of being here amongst the different races and religions, which has also helped him in his studies, and at the same time having the opportunity to learn Bahasa Melayu (Malay language).
