Universiti Sains Malaysia Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Dr. Omar Osman wishes Happy Chinese New Year to the whole USM community, all alumni members, friends and colleagues.

"Happy Chinese New Year to all from me and the top management of USM in the spirit of kinship, togetherness and unity in understanding each other and celebrating the diversity with deep respects, joy and prosperity," said Omar.

Furthermore, now is the time for us to pay each other a visit, and to share in the joy as one truly big family living in this country.

"We are fortunate to live in a country that is peaceful and prosperous and comprising of various races, religions and cultures, living together and understanding each other, and I urge and pray that all of us would always be in blissfulness and happiness," he added.

The Vice-Chancellor also wishes everyone a safe journey on the road and to always ensure their safety wherever they may be.
