PULAU PINANG, November 2015 – PU Profile Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture Multinational company between Malaysia, Brunei, Canada and Belgium, based in Perak Darul Ridzwan, conducted a talk on Eco Green Housing Technologies to the students and lecturers of the School of Housing, Building and Planning (HBP) Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) recently.



The Program Coordinator, Dr. Salman Riazi Mehdi Riazi said that the core competency of PU Profile Sdn. Bhd. is that they have a fully integrated team to provide designs, mould makings and manufacture of Polyurethane products, mould making technologies, injection know-how, quality management system and operation control, other than worldwide marketing networks through Chemcrest in North America, AO in US/Canada and NMC in Europe.   

"They also have their own Product Development team of engineering experts to fabricate and develop new designs and moulds as per the required specifications for Architectural mouldings ranging from Contemporary designs to Heritage Sculptures & Murals, owing to all these, PU Profile Sdn. Bhd. has been awarded Anugerah Wawasan as "The Most Interesting Product Range" in The Best Range & Alternative Investment during the National Day,” added the lecturer from School of HBP.   

Furthermore, he said, PU Profile’s decorative products are light weight, durable, paintable, health hazard free (no powder-drop exposed risk), water resistant, non-corrosive and thus usable for both interior and exterior applications (with hard coat). Besides that, their PU architectural mouldings have good design flexibilities. For Islamic Grills and Jawi tiles frames, they are a Green Cause product with good heat insulation, acoustic characteristics and Aesthetic material that help to meet GBI (Green Building Index) as part of the Green Building Solutions and free of Ozone depletion substances.   

"I hope that all of our students who attended this talk will gain benefits and a lot of information about Eco Green Housing Technologies for their further undertakings in their studies," he mentioned.   

Overall, there were 44 delegates from PU Profile Sdn. Bhd. including their consortium partners such as Covestro (Bayer MaterialScience), Helix Asian and many more. 

More than 150 people including students and lecturers attended the talk.
