PENANG, 22 February 2013 - Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) continued its international collaboration by co-organising the 2013 Korean Society of Design Trend (KSDT) Malaysia International Design Exhibition with the Korean Society of Design Trend (KSDT).

KSDT aims to showcase a total of 160 unique designs of various artists from ASEAN countries for a month starting today. This is the result of collaborative effort by School of the Arts (PPS) lecturers headed by En. Shamsu Mohamad.

“As with our lives where there are no limits, it is just the same with art. This exhibition is the first international exhibition to be held at the Muzium & Galeri Tuanku Fauziah (MGTF),” said Y. Bhg. Prof. Dato’ See Ching Mey, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Division of Industry and Community Network who was present during the exhibition opening ceremony.

The first exhibition was held in 2010 in Korea Design Center, South Korea. A total of 11 artists from KSDT and three from Singapore were present to introduce their art works.
