PENANG, 23 September 2013 - Penerbit USM has proven its worth once again when three of its titles were listed in the prestigious 50 Best Malaysian Titles list. The three titles are Pantun Pilihan Peranakan Baba Negeri Selat, 1910–1930-an edited by Ding Choo Ming, Kuntum Biru Kembang Lestari authored by Muhammad Haji Salleh and Ensera Ayor: Epik Rakyat Iban authored by Noriah Taslim and Chemalin Osup.

The selection was done by National Book Council of Malaysia (MBKM) which is a Malaysian professional body and book advisory at the national level. It is another effort by MBKM to promote Malaysian books with local publishers and industry players at the international level as the listed titles will be displayed at the upcoming Frankfurt Book Fair which boasts over 7500 exhibitors from more than 110 countries. - Text: Alimie Liman
