Students from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Interior Design Programme of the School of Housing, Building and Planning have won the first and second prize of the prestigious 2013 Green Award Competition during the final held on 12th October 2013 in Kuala Lumpur.

Third year student, Harry Chong Kai Zhen received RM5,000 cash, a certificate and a trophy for the first prize in the green space/architecture category while Ayyub Isa Ibrahim and Amy Fadzillah Ibrahim, a duo entry, received RM2,500 and certificates for the same category. The finalists from the School of Housing, Building and Planning beat out 50 other entries from all over the nation.
