BALING, 27 January 2012 – The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Omar Osman, who is also the Honorary Colonel and USM PALAPES Commander attended the PALAPES Annual Training Camp 2013 here today.

His arrival was received by USM PALAPES Chief Trainer, Maj. Mustafa Ibrahim together with USM PALAPES officers and was briefed by Training Officer, Captain Syah Johan Rahamad.

The Vice-Chancellor then participated in reading map location and some tests that were conducted.

USM PALAPES Annual Training Camp 2013, which began since 19 January 2013 and is expected to end with a terrain phase on 2 February 2013, involves a total of 187 cadets comprising 106 women and 81 men.
