PENANG, 9 March 2014 - Muhammad Nifhail Zambri, 21, the grandnephew of Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah who piloted the ill-fated MH370, hoped that everyone would pray for the safety of those involved.
The second year Computer Science undergraduate of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), also urged the public not to speculate which could hurt the families of those involved and expressed disappointment with some of the allegations made.
Nifhail, said to have a close relationship with his granduncle, was met after the solat sunat hajat prayer organised by USM after the solat isyak prayer and he added that his granduncle was very passionate about aviation.
“As a member of the immediate family, some rumours spread by various parties hurt us very much, as we are concerned about the safety of my granduncle and all the passengers," he said.
Nifhail urged all parties to continue to pray for the safety of all 239 passengers and the crew aboard the Boeing 777-200 aircraft. - Text/Photo: Mohd Fairus Md. Isa
