Visitors especially those from northern Peninsula Malaysia and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) community are welcome to visit USM Entrepreneurship Carnival (USMEC) that will be held on 14-16 March at Padang Kawad USM and Dewan Utama Pelajar and will be open for visitors from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm.

USM will present its innovative research products from several research fields, including services such as Consultancy, Training and Arts through this carnival, with the theme Entrepreneurship for All.

The objective of USMEC is to introduce research products and increase the potential interest in entrepreneurship. It is expected to feature more than 100 research products that have the potential to be commercialised.

The launching of the exhibition will be held on Friday, 14 March 2014, at 3.30 pm at USM Padang Kawad.

A total of 60 participants from Public Institutes of Higher Education (IPTA) and Private Institutes of Higher Education (IPTS), governmental and non-governmental agencies will also participate in the carnival to exhibit their business corridor, agro-technology and industry.

Moreover, there will be performances by Arja Lee, Faizul AF8, DBB and Hafiz Hamidun, a public talk by Ustaz Taha to entertain and welcome the visitors.

The agencies confirmed to take part are PROTON, PERODUA, MARDI, FAMA, Farmers Organisation Authority, Penang Malay Chamber of Commerce and many more. Everyone is invited to the carnival.
