USM@KL OPEN DAY MARKS BEGINNING OF NEW POSTGRADUATE JOURNEY

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 July 2026 – A prospective student took the first step towards advancing her academic and professional aspirations after receiving an offer to pursue a postgraduate programme under the Graduate School of Business (GSB) during the Universiti Sains Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (USM@KL) Open Day held today.

The admission reflected USM@KL’s commitment to providing accessible, industry-relevant postgraduate education by offering prospective students direct engagement with academic experts, comprehensive programme information and on-site admissions throughout the Open Day.

Expressing her excitement, the student described her acceptance into USM as the beginning of a new chapter in her academic and professional journey.

“I believe USM provides the right environment for me to grow academically and professionally. Pursuing my postgraduate studies here is an investment in my future, and I am confident it will equip me with the knowledge, skills and exposure needed to achieve my career goals,” she said.

Held at the USM@KL at MoF Inc Tower, Persiaran KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, the Open Day welcomed prospective students, working professionals and industry practitioners, providing opportunities to consult academic staff, explore postgraduate offerings and gain insights into programme structures, research opportunities, career pathways and flexible learning options.

Visitors were also introduced to a comprehensive portfolio of postgraduate programmes offered across various disciplines, including the Master of Professional Management, Master of Business Analytics, Master of Public Administration, Master of Communication in Integrated Communications, Master of Design in Creative Industry and Master of Cognitive Neuroscience, among many others. These programmes reflect USM@KL’s commitment to delivering academically rigorous and professionally relevant education that responds to the evolving needs of industry.

Through initiatives such as the Open Day, USM@KL continues to strengthen access to quality postgraduate education while supporting lifelong learning and nurturing graduates equipped with the knowledge, leadership and professional competencies to thrive in an increasingly dynamic and global landscape.
