USM PENANG, 10 February 2026 – Thirty-three FGV graduands have successfully completed the Certified Professional in Integrity Assurance and Management (CPIAM)–FGV 2.0 Programme, further strengthening human capital capacity in integrity-driven organisational management and governance.

The graduation ceremony for the professional certification programme was held at the University Conference Hall, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

This milestone reflects the strategic collaboration between the USM School of Management, FGV Holdings Berhad, and the Association of Certified Integrity Officers (ACeIO) Malaysia.

USM Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed, remarked: “This ceremony is not only a celebration of the graduands’ success, but also a reflection of USM’s continued commitment to strengthening the culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical governance within organisations and across the corporate sector in Malaysia.”

He highlighted that CPIAM–FGV 2.0 builds upon the achievements of earlier programmes, showcasing the strong synergy between academia, industry, and professional bodies in producing human capital with high levels of integrity.

“This programme demonstrates that such synergy can drive a culture of integrity and serve as a catalyst for positive change within organisations,” he added.

Organised by the USM School of Management, the professional certification programme emphasises competency development through upskilling, reskilling, and newskilling approaches, designed to meet the evolving needs of agencies and industries in an increasingly complex environment.

CPIAM provides a comprehensive platform for participants to deepen their understanding of management evolution and reinforce integrity. Its curriculum highlights current trends in organisational management, particularly in the digital era, covering diverse aspects of operations and governance.

Abdul Rahman further said that, the graduands of CPIAM have shown a high level of discipline and commitment in managing the demands of their careers and acquiring a professional education.

“This achievement would become an important benchmark in reinforcing the culture of integrity in the management system, simultaneously supporting the national aspiration in heading towards a governance practice that is more efficient, transparent, and with integrity,” he said.

In the meantime, the graduands of CPIAM–FGV 2.0 are the fifth cohort from the programme, while the sixth cohort will commence their certification training in April 2026.

At the graduation ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor also launched a book titled ‘Buku Panduan Integriti FGV: Membudayakan Integriti Dalam Organisasi’ (FGV Integrity Manual: Creating a Culture of Integrity in the Organisation).

The manual was developed by means of ‘machine learning’ and served as a comprehensive reference in dealing with issues involving integrity and the abuse of power in the organisation.

The implementation of this programme aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on Quality Education and lifelong learning, in addition to supporting SDG 17 which relates to enhancing strategic partnerships across different sectors (Partnerships for the Goals).

Also present at the programme were former Director of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency Kedah representing the President of Association of Certified Integrity Officers (ACeIO) Malaysia, Dato’ Shaharom Nizam Abd Manap; Chief Officer of Governance and Risk, Kumpulan FGV Holdings Berhad, Suzari Said; USM Deputy Vice-Chancellor Industry and Community Network, Professor Dr. Azlan Amran; USM Legal Office Legal Advisor, Dr. Khairul Anuar Che Azmi; USM School of Management Dean, Professor Dr. Noor Hazlina Ahmad; and key officers from USM, Association of Certified Integrity Officers (ACeIO) Malaysia, and FGV Holdings Berhad among others.
