USAINS HOLDING GROUP MD RECEIVES CEO CHAMPION AWARD AT LAWA 2024, EMBRACING DEI AND SUSTAINABILITY AT WORKPLACE
PENANG, 28 November 2024 – Group Managing Director of USAINS Holding, Farid Wajidi Mat Yusoff, recently received the CEO Champion Award at the Life at Work Awards (LAWA 2024) in the Public Sector Category for Excellence in DEI for Sustainable Work, Workplace, and Workforce, awarded by Talent Corporation Malaysia Bhd. (TalentCorp).
This prestigious award honours Farid’s exemplary leadership in driving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, solidifying his role in guiding USAINS Holding with a commitment to fostering a workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.
Under his leadership, DEI principles have become deeply embedded in the organisation’s core values and practices, ensuring sustainable growth for both employees and the broader community.
This achievement is not only a reflection of Mr. Farid’s vision but also the collective efforts and steadfast commitment of the entire USAINS team, supported by the guidance of Chairman Datuk Dr. Hafsah Hashim.

LAWA 2024, held on 20 November 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, presented 38 awards from 14 categories to organisations that championed DEI alongside sustainable workplace practices.
The awards were presented by Human Resources Minister, Steven Sim Chee Keong at the event organised by TalentCorp.
The LAWA 2024 ceremony, themed ‘Recognising DEI Excellence for Sustainable Work, Workplace and Workforce,’ was also attended by Deputy Minister of Human Resources, Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad; TalentCorp Chairman, Wong Shu Qi; industry leaders; award finalists; and over 750 guests.
