USM SCORES WITH WINNING ENTRIES AT IUCEL 2024
USM PENANG, 5 September 2024 – Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) continues to gain recognition in the context of promoting, exploring and sharing of best innovations and practices, in areas of teaching and learning.
The International University Carnival on E-Learning (IUCEL) 2024, which was also held in support of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has seen the participants from USM succeeding with the medals won.
At the closing session of IUCEL 2024, USM was announced as the recipient of Invention, Innovation & Design on e-Learning (IIDEL) Competition category in IUCEL, with a total of 5 winning entries comprising of 3 Gold and 2 Silver medals respectively.
The e-learning carnival themed IUCEL remains as a platform that promotes and explores global practices in e-learning applications across various learning institutions worldwide.
The theme “Futuristic Transformative Education at the Core of Sustainable Development" has attracted many experts and researchers in the field of teaching and learning from within and outside the country.
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) was the venue for this edition of IUCEL, running concurrently with The Congress and Innovation Competition in Teaching and Learning (kNovasi).
