USM PENANG, 29 January 2024 – Forget Bauhaus bricks and mortar, the School of The Arts at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is building dreams with their 18th edition of RINTIS Design Graduation Showcase!

Titled "Bauhaus," this year's event smashes boundaries, celebrating the diverse brilliance of 94 final-year projects across three departments: Graphic Communication, New Media Design & Technology, and Product Design.

RINTIS was held from 26 January until 29 January 2024 and exhibits were showcased at several locations around the School of The Arts.

“Research Innovation Towards Integration and Sustainability”, or RINTIS, is an annual final-year showcase that was initiated by Associate Professor Hasnul Jamal Saidon in the School of The Arts USM in the year 2004.

More than just an exhibition, RINTIS'24 is a portal to the future, where imagination meets innovation.

Each project pulsates with the spirit of Bauhaus – a fusion of art, technology, and science that transcends traditional limitations.

Think beyond the canvas and prepare to be captivated by:

But RINTIS'24 is more than just showcasing creations. It's a platform for students to stand tall and say, "Here's what I've made!"

Dean of the School of The Arts, USM, Associate Professor Dr. Sarena Abdullah graced the opening ceremony, joined by Deputy Dean (Academic, Career & Internationalisation), Dr. Mohammad Khizal Mohamed Saat; RINTIS’24 Advisor, Dr. Jazmin Mohamad Jaafar; RINTIS’24 Project Director, Bryan Tan Ming Yeong; and VIP delegate Nazaryamat, Kaxprint Manager and our printing sponsor.
