USM PENANG, 25 June 2019 – Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail received a courtesy visit from the ALPS Global Holding Berhad delegation at her office here yesterday.
ALPS Group founder and chief executive officer Professor Dato’ Sri Dr. Tham Seng Kong led the delegation which included Director of Sales, Datin Sri Cindee Chew Yoke Ling; General Manager, ALPS Medical Centre, Tan Siew Mei and Manager of CEO Office, Tan Kay Pau.
The courtesy visit was aimed to seek and discuss potential collaborations with USM on diagnostic and molecular medicine as well as clinical research on cancer.
The areas concerned would involve lecturers and researchers from the USM Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM), USM Health Campus in Kubang Kerian Kelantan and USM Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (IPPT) in Bertam.
