USM, PENANG, 10 April 2017 – The Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail received a courtesy visit from the Cambodia Fellowship Monitoring delegation, led by the Deputy Director-General of Higher Education Cambodia, Dr. Nith Bunlay, today.
The delegates consisted of the Director of Research and Development Centre ITC, Dr. Hul Seingheng; Vice-Dean of Royal University of Phnom Penh, Dr. Chey Chan Oeurn; Director of Institute of Foreign Languages, University of Battambang, Dr. Sam Rany; Vice-Dean of Royal University of Fine Arts, Mr. Chhay Karno; and Vice-Dean of Royal University of Phnom Penh, Mr. Kean Tak.
A brief discussion on academic collaborations between both institutions was held and the delegation also came to monitor 16 of their sponsored students who are currently studying at USM.
The delegation was here at the invitation of the USM Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS). The Deputy Dean of IPS, Professor Dr. Azman Samsudin also attended the discussion.
